SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) is asking for the public’s help for information after a man was wounded in early morning gunfire Saturday.

VTA employee arrested in fatal San Jose shooting of coworker: sheriff

SFPD said officers responded to the 800 block of Geary Street at 2:40 a.m. for a report of gunfire. When police arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds and rendered aid until paramedics came. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Several bystander vehicles were also damaged in the incident, said SFPD.

Officials said no arrests have been made in this open and active investigation. Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the SFPD at 415-575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411.
