( KRON ) — Thursday’s game at the Oakland Coliseum is expected to be rowdy, and Texas Rangers manager Bruce Bochy ensured that his team is ready for whatever happens. The Rangers will play the Oakland A’s at 12:37 p.m. in the final MLB game in Oakland before the A’s move to Sacramento.

Bochy told Dallas radio station 105.3 The Fan that his players were talked to by security officials ahead of the final game. They have a plan for what to do if fans storm the field.

“We have had security talk to the guys. MLB’s around. The biggest thing we told the players is don’t get confrontational if somebody does storm the field. Avoid them, use your glove or hips, don’t get too close to them,” he said .

Bochy, the longtime San Francisco Giants manager, also unveiled more details about MLB’s security plan. He said security will be provided by MLB, the San Francisco Police Department and the Oakland Police Department. He wants his players to head to the clubhouse immediately after the final out, although he doesn’t expect anything crazy to happen.

“There’s no hanging around because you don’t know. I don’t think there’s going to be a lot happening like the rumblings you’re hearing, but you don’t know when you get that many people,” he said.

The Coliseum stands have been packed with passionate A’s fans for the first two games of the series. More than 35,000 fans filed in on Wednesday, and Thursday’s game is sold out.

Video posted on social media Tuesday appeared to show fans ripping seats out of the ground at the Coliseum.

In the radio interview, Bochy talked about his memories of managing at the Coliseum during the Bay Bridge series.

“When I was with the Giants that’s where I got to spend more games there and really appreciate what they did have. They still do, we saw it last night. They’re passionate fans. They are. It’s loud in there,” he said.
