Man shot to death in Redwood City, police say

( KRON ) — The Redwood City Police Department is investigating a homicide case that occurred later on Friday night.

RCPD officers responded to the 1600 block of El Camino Real at about 10:43 p.m. Police were told reports of gunshots being heard.

Upon arrival, police officers received reports of the gunshot victim, a male, being dropped off at a nearby local hospital.

The man, who remains unidentified by police, suffered a single gunshot wound, “which was ultimately fatal,” RCPD said.
