Child injured after car hits bike in SF’s Richmond District

SAN FRANCISCO ( KRON ) — A child has life-threatening injuries after a bicycle and car crashed in San Francisco on Monday, the San Francisco Police Department said.

The crash happened just before 6 p.m. at Seventh Avenue and Balboa Street. An adult was riding the bicycle with a child on board.

The child was hospitalized, SFPD said. The driver cooperated with the investigation.

The crash disrupted the Muni 31 bus’ service. It rerouted through Cabrillo Street between Sixth and Ninth avenues while police were at the scene.

Do not put your Kids in these bikes. If you the Parent, want to ride alone, then so be it.. You alone take that risk, don't subject your kid to the possibility of some idiot driver smacking you. Poor kid...
