Juveniles arrested in car linked to three Vallejo armed robberies

( KRON ) — Two minors were arrested in Vallejo for multiple gun-related felonies, the Vallejo Police Department said Tuesday.

The juveniles were in a car that was linked to at least three armed robberies in Vallejo, police said. The mother of one boy was driving.

VPD officers conducted a “high-risk felony traffic stop” on the 2011 Dodge Caliber carrying the woman and two boys on Sept. 28. One boy had a gun in the waistband of his pants, and officers found another gun in the back of the car, where the other boy was sitting.

Both guns had high-capacity magazines, police said. One of the juveniles was on felony probation.

Both boys were arrested for multiple gun-related felonies, police said. The mother was detained and released at the scene.

Police seized both guns and towed the Dodge for evidence.
