    Oakland business rammed, burglarized early Wednesday

    ( KRON ) — An Oakland storefront was rammed with a vehicle before burglars swarmed the premises overnight Wednesday in the Lakeshore neighborhood, according to the Oakland Police Department.

    Police responded to the 3200 block of Lakeshore Avenue at around 3:45 a.m. on a report of an in-progress commercial burglary. According to investigators, one vehicle rammed into the business to gain access.

    Oakland homicide on School Street Tuesday being investigated

    Several suspects, who arrived in multiple vehicles, entered the damaged storefront and took several items, police said. The suspects fled the scene in the vehicles before officers arrived.

    The burglary investigation is ongoing, OPD said.
