    Oakland man missing under ‘unusual circumstances,’ police say

    UPDATE: Haynes has been found.

    ( KRON ) — The Oakland Police Department is searching for a man who it says is missing under “unusual circumstances.”

    Edward Haynes, 32, was last seen near the Eastmont Mall bus station on Oct. 5. The mall is located at 7200 Bancroft Ave. in East Oakland.

    Haynes is described as a Black man who stands 6’0″ and weighs 235 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

    He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black sweatpants. Police did not elaborate on the unusual circumstances.

    Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call OPD at (510) 238-3641.
