    At-risk Hayward man goes missing after not returning home from walk

    ( KRON ) — An at-risk man was last seen in Hayward on Wednesday, the Hayward Police Department (HPD) announced on X . Jose L. Chavez Sanchez was reported missing on Thursday, Oct. 10 after being last seen a day earlier at around 3:40 p.m.

    Sanchez, 63, was reported missing after not returning home from a walk, according to police. He is a Hispanic man last seen in a white shirt with gray lettering, black shorts and white shoes.

    Sanchez is described to be 5-foot-4 tall and weighs 115 pounds. He is considered to be at-risk due to an undisclosed medical condition.

    HPD did not say where Sanchez was last seen. Anyone who locates Sanchez is asked to call HPD at 510-293-7000 or call 911.
