SAN FRANCISCO ( KRON ) — Rain is possible in the Bay Area Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. The NWS forecast sees rain spreading across the North Bay early Saturday morning.

It will then move south throughout the day, eventually dissipating before reaching the Central Coast. Rainfall amounts, according to the NWS, are expected to be light.

Fleet Week weather: Will SF skies be clear enough to see Blue Angels?

Saturday’s wet conditions, the marine layer, and high clouds could impact viewing of the Fleet Week Air Show and the Blue Angels .

“Starting late Friday, we have some clouds that will move in as a weak front tracks through the Bay Area,” said KRON4 Meteorologist Kyla Grogan. “That means by Saturday morning, we will be dealing with some cloudy weather, and we even have a slight chance of a few sprinkles in San Francisco as the front passes us by.”

Wet conditions are expected to clear by Sunday with clearing in the afternoon, once the front tracks through, according to Grogan.
