( KRON ) – A fatal vehicle collision caused road closures northbound on Highway 101 south of Canyon Road in Geyserville, according to the California Highway Patrol in Santa Rosa.

All lanes were closed. As of 4:30 p.m., all lanes reopened, CHP said. The crash was first reported at around noon.

BART Red Line suspended Saturday afternoon

Initial reports were of a car that “landed on its roof” with occupants in the vehicle. CHP reported four passengers in a Honda, with one of the passengers reported dead.

CHP said the Honda was going southbound on US101 when it lost control and went through the center median — which had no wall — leading it to crash into a Subaru driving northbound.

The Subaru had three passengers, including a mother and her baby, CHP said. They were taken to a nearby hospital in Santa Rosa, and the extent of their injuries is unknown.

CHP advised drivers to expect delays.

Canyon rd isn't close to Santa Rosa. It's in Geyserville, but it's close to Healdsburg and Cloverdale. It's 20+ miles from Rosa
