    ‘Possible’ threat places North Bay school on lockdown Monday

    ( KRON ) — A “possible school threat” was behind a lockdown at Penngrove Elementary School Monday morning, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.

    “All students and staff are safe and accounted for,” the sheriff’s office said at 1:20 p.m. A parent reunification point was established south of the school at the Rancho Adobe Fire Protection District at 11000 Main Street.

    Residents were earlier asked to avoid the area of the school, located at 365 Adobe Road.

    No further information about the possible threat was immediately available.
