Here is when the first Peninsula Raising Cane’s will open

( KRON ) — If you live in San Francisco or a neighboring Peninsula city, you no longer have to drive to Oakland to get a taste of Raising Cane’s and its signature chicken fingers. A Raising Cane’s is officially opening its first location in the Peninsula next month.

The Raising Cane’s located at 123 Colma Blvd. in Colma is having its grand opening on Tuesday, Nov. 19, the Louisiana-based fast food chain said. The restaurant will be Raising Cane’s 100th location in California and fourth in the Bay Area.

It will be located at the 280 Metro Center shopping plaza. Other nearby establishments include The Home Depot, Best Buy and Ulta Beauty.

The Colma location adds to Raising Cane’s presence in the Bay Area, which includes the three restaurants currently open in Oakland, Vacaville and Hayward. Unlike the Oakland location , guests at the Colma Raising Cane’s can dine inside the restaurant.

Hours for the Colma location are 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. from Sunday to Wednesday, a company spokesperson said. The restaurant is open from 9 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. from Thursday to Saturday.

KRON4 first reported about Raising Cane’s coming to Colma back in February . Other Bay Area locations being planned to open include San Jose (no opening date set) and Fairfield (opening on Oct. 29).

Raising Cane’s plans on hiring about 150 employees for its Colma location. Anyone looking to apply for employment can visit the new restaurant from Oct. 18 through Nov. 2, with daily sessions held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Applications can be submitted online at jobs.raisingcanes.com.

There are more than 800 Raising Cane’s across more than 40 states in the United States.
