( KRON ) — A 27-year-old Santa Rosa woman was arrested for attempted homicide after a gunshot victim turned up at a North Bay hospital on Saturday morning, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) announced Wednesday.

Deputies responded to an area hospital at around 7 a.m. after a shooting victim was admitted, the sheriff’s office said. An investigation determined that the victim was shot at a home on the 5000 block of Old Redwood Highway in Larkfield-Wikiup.

Sonoma County authorities said the suspect, identified as Jessica Navarro, 27, drove to the residence and shot the suspect before driving away. Navarro allegedly knew the people who were inside the home, and the sheriff’s office said it was an isolated incident.

Navarro was located by detectives on Sunday morning around 8:45 a.m. at the Coddingtown Mall, SCSO said. She was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County jail for attempted homicide.

The shooting victim is expected to survive, officials said.
