ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – When a fight breaks out between two boys, can their parents be the voice of reason? Or is fighting just human nature?

The play, God of Carnage, tries to show the answer to these questions. It’s running at the Albuquerque Vortex Theater from August 9 to 25.

The play has two sets of actors, and two of them spoke about the show. Yanning Morin and Wendy Barker explained the play is a breakdown of civility and displays how once-calm interactions can turn into something much different.

They expressed the show is a slice of reality that highlights the importance of communication and social values. They call the show a dark comedy with insight into emotional actions.
