Angelo Leo wins World Title VIA 10th round KO

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque’s own Angelo Leo is once again a World Champion after winning the IBF Featherweight World Title on Saturday night. Leo beat former champion Venado Lopez by a 10th-round knockout at Tingley Coliseum.

Nationally broadcasted on ESPN, Leo showcased a solid fight the whole way through and the cherry on top was a left hand that put Lopez to the canvas. Leo is now a 2-time World Champion and has improved his professional to 25-1 with 12 wins coming by knockout.
