ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico United once again felt the spoils of victory. A win on Sunday in Indianapolis ended the club’s two-game losing skid and added some cushion on top of the Western Conference leaderboard.

After trailing 1-0 after the first half, the black and yellow flipped an offensive switch in the final 45. Goals from Harry Swartz, Sergio Rivas and Greg Hurst gave New Mexico its first three-goal performance since June 29 and first game with a two-goal margin of victory since July 3.

With the win, United is now six points in front of Sacramento and Oakland in the conference standings.

New Mexico now returns to Albuquerque for a two-game home stand this week. Up first, the club will host FC Tulsa on Wednesday. United will close out the week on Saturday against Monterey Bay FC.
