    Tesuque Pueblo runners statue on display at Santa Fe Convention Center

    SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – A statue dedicated to the Pueblo Revolt of 1680 is now on display in Santa Fe. The bronze sculpture showing two Tesuque Pueblo runners has been moved to the Santa Fe Convention Center.

    New Mexico History Museum prepares to open Zozobra exhibit ahead of 100th burning

    It comes after the Santa Fe City Council approved plans to display it and another controversial statue of Don Diego de Vargas. That statue was removed from Cathedral Park in 2020 amid national and local protests. That statue is now at the New Mexico History Museum.
