Deming shooting injures three, police say

DEMING, N.M. (KRQE) – Multiple people are injured after a shooting incident. It happened in Deming, the police said.

Deming Police Department said on Saturday, around 4 p.m., two people drove to a residence in the 1000 block of W. Birch Street. An “altercation” prompted gunfire, and three people were wounded.

No one has been identified, but the wounded parties were airlifted to Texas. Police said “no innocent” bystanders were injured. Authorities are investigating.
