Home Run Derby X just days away

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Home Run Derby X is coming to Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park on Friday, August 23. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and Home Run Derby X is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.

The event features four teams made of an MLB legend, a female player from softball/women’s baseball and a local player. Each player gets one at at-bat for two-and-a-half minutes. During the at-bat the opposing team is in the outfield. Teams earn points for home runs or from defensive catches.

The first 3,000 fans ages 16 and older in attendance will receive a limited edition Manny Ramirez Mariachis jersey. The Isotopes will be offering a “Howl of a Deal” ticket package. For only $20 fans will get one Home Run Derby X ticket, one ticket to the Lobo football home opener and one ticket for remaining Isotopes game.
