    Gallup police asking for information on shooting that injured teen

    GALLUP, N.M. (KRQE) – The Gallup Police Department is asking the public for more information on a shooting that left a 15-year-old injured. According to police, the shooting happened last week near Second Street and Logan Ave. Police said the teen was shot in the stomach on a dirt trail in the area.

    The teen told police he approached two men on the trail when one of them pulled out a gun and shot him. The person who fired the gun is believed to be a white male with a goatee who was wearing a black sweatshirt. The second male is believed to have had on a blue hoodie.
