Bernalillo County completes contract negotiations with incoming County Manager

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Bernalillo County is now closer to welcoming new County Manager, Cindy Chavez. The county says they have completed negotiations with Chavez.

Chavez will replace Julie Morgas Baca, who is retired from after more than 16 years with the county. Chavez is a native New Mexican who is serving on the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors in the San Jose area. The contract will go before the board of county commissioners on August 27. If approved, Chavez will start on November 13.
