    Santa Fe police release report comparing crime stats to last year

    SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Santa Fe is seeing more robberies, thefts, and assaults so far this year compared to last year. Newly released stats from the Santa Fe Police Department show assaults had the biggest increase with more than 1,050 offenses compared to a little more than 900 by July of last year.

    However, the report said there have been roughly 50 fewer stolen vehicles, 160 fewer burglaries, and four fewer murders in Santa Fe.
