ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Bernalillo County is warning residents of unsafe mobile food vendors operating in unincorporated parts of the county. The county says these mobile food vendors were serving food in unsafe and unsanitary conditions.

BernCo said an influx of these pop-up vendors have been appearing near Rio Bravo and Coors and Rio Bravo and Isleta as well as other locations within the county. They say two vendors were ordered to stop operations due to a number of violations. The county says properly permitted food establishments must have a food establishment permit or a temporary food establishment permit and a green satisfactory sticker posted and their most recent food inspection must be available.
