ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man learned his fate in court for shooting and killing another man during a custody exchange with a 2-year-old child. Last March, Tristan Isaacs was meeting with Brittany Sena to exchange custody of their 2-year-old child.

Life sentence for man’s role in two Albuquerque murders

During the exchange, Sena’s boyfriend, Christopher Rodriguez got into a fight with Isaacs before fatally shooting him 5 times. A jury convicted Rodriguez earlier this summer of voluntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence. Judge Brett Loveless sentenced him to 12.5 years behind bars.

he should've received 12.5 years for every bullet fired, when he murdered his victim.
