Clovis police find puppies in dumpster, looking for suspect

CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – Clovis police are searching for a suspect who threw newborn puppies in a dumpster.

Police claimed a male drove down an alleyway in a brown SUV and threw a white plastic bag into a dumpster. They got calls that there were three newborn puppies in the bag crying with another one already dead.

Animal control officers were able to get the three puppies into foster families. Clovis police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
