NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The election is just a couple of months away. It’s a pivotal moment in history and in many ways be overwhelmed with stress, but don’t fret.

“Those can be hard: how to navigate relationships or family situations with people who may have different perspectives or different beliefs. I think a few pieces can be grounding going into the family connection and trying to maintain an openness of curiosity about why people may feel like they do,” said UNM Psychiatry Department Doctor Kristina Sowar.

She also said one of the best ways to remain grounded and reduce stress is practicing breathwork.
