APD detectives investigate shooting

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating a shooting.

According to APD, a person was dropped off at a hospital on Sunday morning with a gunshot wound. Officials originally reported the person died, but it turns out there was a “miscommunication.”

APD said: “There was a miscommunication between the hospital and our officers given the status of the shooting victim. The individual is alive at the hospital in critical condition.”

Detectives believe the scene of the shooting might be located near 4th and Candelaria. They are currently investigating.
