ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque woman is facing a murder charge related to a homicide in April of last year.

According to the criminal complaint, the Albuquerque Police Department responded to a home near Central between Louisiana and Wyoming in April of 2023. One man was found dead in the apartment.

Originally, it ruled an unattended death, but the complaint stated the cause of death was switched to homicide last week.

Police believe Jasmine Trujillo, who was living with the man, planned to rob him. They claimed she brought her boyfriend, identified as Jarrett Chacon, to the home. Police reported the two were seen leaving the home in the victim’s car shortly after the time the victim is believed to have been killed.

Trujillo was booked into MDC and is facing a murder charge. Chacon currently has a warrant out for his arrest.

When this popped up I thought it might have been March 18th 2023 murdered case. My son was murdered on that day in Albuquerque, New Mexico they unloaded 3 guns on him and 2 of the shooters ran one of the girls stayed pretended to do CPR why she was robbing his lifeless body. Still patiently waiting for justice, but Albuquerque has so many killings every day there so years behind on cases.
