NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Three New Mexico schools including one in Albuquerque were recognized for their academic performance. The U.S. Department of Education named Ventana Ranch Elementary School as one of its 356 national blue ribbon schools this year. That designation goes to schools that perform well on tests and have narrowed the gap among different student groups.

Flights between Albuquerque, Angel Fire expected to take off before 2025

Zia Elementary in Clovis and the school at White Sands Missile Range were also named blue ribbon schools.
