ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – To help raise money for food resources in New Mexico some local potters are teaming up with Storehouse New Mexico to host the 2024 Empty Bowls Albuquerque event.

    Story continues below

This year’s Empty Bowls will be Saturday, September 28 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at St. John’s United Methodist Church. Local potters donate handcrafted bowls and local restaurants donate food for the event. Tickets are $35 and allow guests to choose a bowl and enjoy a lunch including soup, bread, dessert, and a drink. Money raised will go toward Storehouse New Mexico, which will help the organization fund the food pantry.
