APD investigating fatal crash in northeast Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that happened on September 25, involving a motorcycle and vehicle near the intersection of Tramway Blvd. and Menaul Blvd.

APD says around 7 p.m. officers were called to investigate the crash. Police say a Toyota Prius was facing north on Tramway and attempting to make a U turn onto southbound Tramway. A motorcycle was traveling south on Tramway and collided with the Prius as it made the U turn. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on scene. The Prius had three occupants, who were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. APD says the investigation is ongoing.
