    Bernalillo County offering free arrest warrant assistance

    ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A team of public defenders will be available at the International District Library on Thursday, October, 3 to resolve arrest warrants from Bernalillo County. This event is free and will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Also on hand will be refreshments, toiletries, and essential item kits. Bernalillo County will have certified peer support workers and case managers on-site to assist clients, and transportation will be available to get them to additional community resources.

    Special Collections Public Library in Albuquerque listed on National Register of Historic Places

    The workshop is a collaboration between the LOPD, the Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office, and the Second Judicial District Court, Representatives from the UNM Office for Community Health, the YDI Community Engagement Team, and State of the Heart Recovery will also be available to give immediate connections to vital social services, case management, behavioral health care, and substance use treatment.
