    Santa Fe Police find two bodies inside a vehicle, suspect in custody

    SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Santa Fe Police Department has a suspect in custody after two bodies were found in the area of Siringo Rd. and Camino Consuelo around 11:30 p.m. Monday night.

    SFPD says officers were called to the area for a report of people under the bridge being loud. Officers arrived on scene and found a vehicle in the arroyo. A male suspect armed with a firearm exited the vehicle and attempted to flee. Officers were able to apprehend and detain the suspect. Police say a male and female victim were found dead in the vehicle and both appeared to have at least one gunshot wound. SFPD is investigating the incident as a homicide.
