    Police asking for information in 1994 Albuquerque murder

    ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque police are asking for the public’s help to solve a 30-year-old murder case in the latest episode of Duke City Case Files. Lisa Wortman was found dismembered inside a manhole behind The Pit on June 6, 1994. The 23-year-old Albuquerque native was studying pre-law at the University of New Mexico and was known for throwing drug and alcohol-free parties.

    Her family still remembers receiving the news.”I remember that day pretty clearly. When the news came out that there was a body found behind The Pit. I had a very strong feeling that it was her,” said Lori Dibenedetto, Lisa’s sister.
