    117 people become U.S. citizens during ceremony in Albuquerque

    ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The United States has 117 new citizens after candidates from 30 different countries had their naturalization ceremony in downtown Albuquerque on Friday. It’s an exciting day, where people can take advantage of what the country has to offer. “I was 12 years old when I got out of Cuba. Havana. Finally, I’m happy that I became a citizen,” said Ena Yanes.

    Yanes said she is also very excited to vote in this year’s election.
