10th annual Sugar Skull Fun Run coming October 27

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The 10th annual Sugar Skull Fun Run is coming Sunday, October 27. The run is a Día de Los Muertos themed event where participants are encouraged to dress up and take part in one of the events that are catered to all skill levels.

Participants can register for a 5k fun run or a one-mile strut & stroll. Walkers are invited to bring their pets if they wish. The run/walk goes along Tingley Dr., between Central Ave. and 8th St. in Albuquerque. Participants and guests are invited to dress up in a costume for the event. The event will also the ‘Muerto Market’ with local artisans, craft vendors and food vendors. Registration is open and anyone can register right up until race day.
