Dog fighters love this. Bait dogs for free. if you can't afford the adoption fee you can't afford the care for it.

Other than people...pet owners...taking FULL RESPONSIBILITY for the animals they have and making a TRUE COMMITMENT to their total well being, perhaps we need to address veterinarians and the COSTS our furry family members can incur for us. I'd LOVE to see costs go down...I realize the meds and services can be overwhelming, and vets have a responsibility to our pets and US to keep costs more realistic. Maybe there should be a town hall meeting so pet owners can actually talk to them, ask questions and MAYBE reach some answers...especially these days with costs of EVERYTHING is sky high. We CAN'T ignore their health, let alone allow them to breed right and left. The costs of that alone is off putting and keeps MANY from being ABLE to even shoulder the responsibility. Start with LOWERING just those changes for now, have special deals for spay/neuter costs...males are the cheapest by far. But both need to be addressed.
