Mexican cuisine is one of the most popular cuisines around the country, offering dishes bursting with explosive flavor and comforting spice, so naturally there are plenty of incredible restaurants focused on dishing out the cuisine to hungry diners everywhere you look.

LoveFood searched around the U.S. to find the "best places to get your fix of Mexican and Mexican-inspired food," compiling a list of the top spot in each state based on user reviews, awards and accolades as well as first-hand experience.

According to the site, the "best Mexican restaurant" in all of Missouri is Mission Taco Joint, which has multiple locations around St. Louis. Find your nearest one by visiting the website .

Here's what LoveFood had to say about the best Mexican restaurant in the entire state:

"The first Mission Taco Joint opened in St. Louis' Delmar Loop in 2013 — and its fresh, bold flavors proved so popular that there are now several locations across the state. The restaurant takes inspiration from the Mexican-style cuisine of California (where owners and brothers Jason and Adam Tilford grew up), and diners love its breezy West Coast ambience. Dishes like Baja fish tacos keep customers coming back for more, while the 'corn off the cob,' served with garlic-lime mayo and queso fresco, is legendary."

I've gotta say, with all the Mexican restaurants where I live, I'm curious how all the Republicans fill those tables and then complain about Mexicans on the ride to and from the eatery. Good hard working people should be praised, not disparaged. I eat locally, and they're all good.
