3 NNE Derby – Sedgwick County – Delayed report of large electrical transmission poles snapped roughly 6 feet above the ground.

Citizen report of lines down just south of Sedgwick, 12000 block of N. Ridge, utility pole blocking the road. Also, unspecified storm debris was reported there.

Kingman – thunderstorm damage – law enforcement reports tree damage occurred in town with a couple of trees knocked over. There are some powerlines down as well.

Emergency management in McPherson received reports of debris, powerlines down, and buildings collapsed at 22nd Avenue and Eisenhower Road.

70-80 MPH wind gusts – 3 E of McPherson

7:33 p.m.

Storm chaser reports a tornado 7 NNE Olsburg in Pottawatomie County. Tornado lasted for about 5 minutes before roping out. This is north of Manhattan and in Topeka’s jurisdiction.
