Silver Alert issued for man last seen in Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Wichita Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for 56-year-old Christopher David Ryan.

Ryan was last seen on the afternoon of Aug. 14 at the bus station located at 214 S. Topeka. He is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a slender build, grayish-brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark gray t-shirt, shorts, and light gray shoes. The WPD says Ryan has dementia, and his left leg is bent outward at the knee.

Police say Ryan contacted his mother, asking her to purchase a bus ticket to Norman. The bus was scheduled to depart Wichita at 2:30 a.m. and arrive in Norman at 6:45 a.m. It is unclear if he boarded the bus.
