SHERIDAN COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — A 30-year-old man died in a crash with a semitractor trailer on Kansas Highway 23 Monday morning.

The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. at the crest of a hill about five miles south of Hoxie or about 12 miles north of Interstate 70.

The semi was headed south on K-23, and a Mazda car was headed north.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says the car went left of center for an unknown reason and hit the semi at the crest of the hill.
