Renovations start at K9 Rooster Dog Park in north Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Renovations have started at the K9 Rooster Dog Park in north Wichita.

The dog park, near the intersection of 21st and Amidon, has been closed temporarily while crews work.

Wichita Park and Recreation said Tuesday the project is expected to be completed toward the end of 2024.

The plan is to expand the entrance areas and add more seating areas, shade structures, and new water fountains.
