Part of Hydraulic near K-96 to close on Friday

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas Department of Transportation says part of the Hydraulic system at Kansas Highway 96 will close in Wichita on Friday.

The closure will happen from 5 a.m. to noon to erect a girder. KDOT says motorists exiting westbound on K-96 onto North Hydraulic Avenue will be restricted to right turns toward East 37th Street. The eastbound K-96 on-ramp from North Hydraulic Avenue will remain closed. The on- and off-ramps at Hydraulic Avenue and northbound I-135 will stay open.

Businesses in the area will still have direct access to their facilities, KDOT says.
