RAWLINS COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — A 20-year-old man from Bird City died in a crash in Rawlins County Thursday evening.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said Mitchell C. Howard was driving east on Atwood Cemetery Road around 8:30 p.m.

Troopers say that the car left the road to the right for an unknown reason and struck a concrete bridge pillar. The car spun counterclockwise and came to rest, facing north in the ditch.
