WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A concrete truck got stuck under the railroad bridge at Waterman shortly after 10 a.m. Friday. The bridge has a maximum height limit of 12 feet.

The stuck truck blocked traffic for a couple of hours. Just before 1 p.m., a towing vehicle arrived to remove the truck.

Over the years, many other drivers have missed the height limit signs and have tried to drive tall trucks under the bridge. They also ended up stuck .

It has happened so many times that the City of Wichita created an amusing video explaining what can and cannot fit under a 12-foot bridge.

Sedgwick County dispatchers say that crews check the bridge for damage each time.

No injuries were reported in Friday’s incident.
