Rider dead after motorcycle crashes, falls off Kellogg

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A motorcyclist is dead after crashing a motorcycle into a guardrail early Saturday morning.

According to the Wichita Police Department, the motorcyclist was merging onto westbound Kellogg, near Hydraulic, when they hit a guardrail. The motorcyclist fell off the motorcycle and landed on an embankment below.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and later died.

The victim’s identity has not been released, and the cause is under investigation
