WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – No. 18 Kansas State will play Tennessee-Martin on Saturday at 7 p.m. to open the season. If heading to the game, be aware that Interstate 70 at Junction City is still under construction, and traffic is down to one eastbound and westbound lane.

Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper Ben said the I-70 construction could lead to extended delays, stoppages and potential crashes. He urges drivers to leave hours earlier. He also recommends coming from the north on U.S. Highway 24 as the route tends to be smoother with fewer delays. For road assistance, dial *47 from a mobile phone  to report non-emergencies, such as:

    • Road hazards
    • Erratic drivers
    • Breakdowns
    • Mechanical assistance
    • Tow services
    • Dangerous situations
    • Impaired drivers
    • Drivers not staying in their lane
    • Crashes
    • Site trunking issues

If you want to watch the game from home, it will be broadcast on ESPN+.
