WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A donation will get kids moving and save a school some money.

The American Heart Association donated 150 soccer, volley and basketballs to Gordon Parks Academy on Monday. The principal says that those go missing every year.

“These are like spoons at your house or socks at your house. They disappear, and you don’t know what happens to them, so you have to buy them every year. So, I’m very grateful that I don’t have to use my budget to rebuy something again,” Latonia Kennedy, Gordon Park Academy principal, said.

The American Heart Association is planning another donation drive for next year.
