    26 students on Kansas school bus involved in crash

    RILEY COUNTY, Kan. ( KSNT ) – A school bus was involved in a crash when a driver suddenly noticed the red stop signs were deployed on the bus, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. It happened just after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Riley County.

    The KHP said that a Clay Center man was driving a Buick Regal west on U.S. Highway 77 and tried to stop after seeing the stop signs on the bus deployed to let kids out. The school bus was parked on the shoulder of the highway. A semi was following the Regal when it braked. The semi rear-ended the Regal and crashed into the bus.

    There were 26 students onboard the bus. Nobody was injured in the crash, including the drivers of all three vehicles, according to the KHP.
