Finalize holiday travel plans now to save money

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — AAA recommends booking now if you plan to travel during the winter holidays.

A spokesman says flight prices are still low, but once seats fill up, prices will go up. It is especially expected since coming out of the record-setting summer travel season.

“You’re just going to have more options of when you travel and the seats on those flights, especially for Thanksgiving. Now is absolutely the time you need to be looking at those options, talking to your travel agents, or booking those through your airlines,” Shawn Steward, AAA spokesman, said.

If you plan to drive, gas prices should be about where they are now unless something happens with crude oil globally.
